If you have not seen the tier 2 void armor helm then dont waste the shards on it.

We look like dumb donald from fat albert with it on.

Yeah, I'm wearing the Roman helm from Deep Forge right now. I think that's the first time I've ever had my helm graphic actually turned on.

I sported the customized Hoo'Loh for a while. Though it was just for the great razor fin comments from raid chat. Not to mention being less atractive to our in the closet healers... you know who you are!
