My guard is only an alt, but wouldn't increasing your shield block increase your hate gain since you put points into the enhancement to hold the line?

Is that what it is raising your total avoidance on the persona window or your shield block %? I was expecting more like 2% if it was shield block %. Though I currently run with 5 AA in the agi line for the extra AE. After playing around on test, I don't think I will be able to run that spec after GU 51. So the AA in siege might be worth it. I am going to reserve judgement on which of those is better until after the update goes live.

I've been /feedback on test to add to the seige aa to give not only +dmg/quicker cast to also add +% base taunt increase to that now that the aoe has a taunt built in. I still run agi and unless they don't add a taunt to the agi aoe chances are I'll spec off and back to stam when this GU hits. /cheers for being a single target tank There are a lot of things I did /feedback on test especialy with aa's... I would love to see the fighter line def stance aa give 0.5% - 1% hate gain as opposed to the stupid +1 to stats... +1 = worthless... also gut kick has hate added to it but the enhance gut kick doesn't up the taunt like the enhance infraction... little things like thise would be nice to add

Isn't the Hunker Down buff going to increase shield effectiveness by 10%?

That turns a 1,500 protection shield into a 1,650 protection shield.

Serious question here: How important is an extra 150-200 protection on a temp buff?

I think it's worthwhile, but not near as powerful as some people originally thought.

Honestly why do you need any aa's spent in aoe's for raiding? i have an aoe spec for grouping but on raids thats why you have zerkers/sk's. you deal with the namer let them deal with the flap!

edit: also reinforcment + siege is more than enough most of the time.

Don't get me wrong... I do see the point but you have to remember not every one is raid tank every day. My thought was on the fact that about 90% of the fighting I do is in the new TSO instances and aoe hate control is a big issue for me and our class in general. I also have a raid spec that is sole based on single target aggro but I only use that 1-3 times a week. More than likely I will go with that if I am raiding but the rest of the time probably not. I just hope they add a hate component to the agi aoe to be in line with all other fighter aoes.
