Bah, I guess I'm going to have to find my taunts in the knowledge book and put them on my hotbars now.

You remember what taunts are Anap. They are the buttons that make the word resist appear over the mobs head.

No, but its like a crystal ball with swords crossed, and at 100% its all red and flashing! I do like the little red bars under mobs too which I assume will denote your percentage as well.

QFE

Has anyone seen anything in all this to try and reduce resist rates? (over than aggression skill)

Or is aggression going to be the main focus on "helping" your taunts land?

They changed agression to actually be meaningful now. I think Aeralik posted something that basically said if your aggression skill is 10% higher then the mob you are fighting taunts are unresistable now.

So if you are fighting an 87 mob their agression would be 435, so you would need an agression skill of 479 to not have taunts resisted. He didn't mention anything about this scalling vs epic mobs like crits do, so it should be a straight calculation.

EDIT: Found the post Link

So for example a level 80 mob has 400 base skill by having 440 aggression or higher your taunts become unresistable to your target. The resistability also scales down over that 40 point zone so yes having aggression is actually worthwhile now

Yeah!
Aggression means something!

Good thing all of the TSO guard set pieces (only the shoulders) have aggression on them to help this change out....wait a second....

/vomit

I can't say I've seen all of the loot that drops off these mobs but it seems like aggression bonuses are scarce as well.

Yeah they lowered the hate % on the dirge buff but that agression that was on there stays. Most people forgot it was even on there. You hear that dirges! No freeing up a concentration slot!

I love the line about being too close to grabbing agro.

"You are about to steal aggro. If you don't want to, now is a very good time for your detaunts, or to get up and grab a drink."

Can just see half of the dps on our next raid saying they are going afk to grab a drink, just to be smartasses.
