Default Threat Meter

First let me say that I don't think this is a good idea. However if it's going to be part of the game I would like to know more about it. Any have any info on how it works? Is there a different threat meter for each mob? Does it show your hate position or just how much threat you are producing?

target/implied-target window is supposed to show a number ranging from 0-100 equaling the percent of hate YOU have, compared to the hate the current target of the mob.

Targetted mobs have a red bar beneath their power bar that fills up as you get closer to pulling aggro, full bar = mob is on you.

There is also a little circular scrying stone kinda window that will display your current hate as a percentage of the current target's hate (ctrl + t to show it)

> It will trivialize raiding. But, I do like it. A wizard can know exactly what his threat is relavent to the mob's current hate list. He can now be sure if that Fusion will rip aggro or if he won't. Things like this will be monumental in pushing your raid's DPS limits.

I don't think it will cause raids to put out more dps. There will still be a lot of unknowns, such as crits, mythical spell dbl atk, procs, etc. So you are either going to be having people stay just low enough for one nuke without getting agro, then getting agro on a crit, or you are going to have them staying low enough to compensate for that posibility, hindering their dps. Not to mention it won't give poor tanks motivation to improve, if everyone just lowers their dps to the tanks threat output without challenging him/her for agro.

Top of the aggro list doesn't always mean the mob will be targetting you

We'll worry about that tiny part of the time when we get there.

The threat meter is actually relavent to your DPS. Also with the testing we've done so far is that you can actually see your Threat Decay as you stand there. It's always changing. Conversely, the more Threat that I do, will also force your numbers to go down as well. - Healing seemed to do minimal Threat increase and "DPS" seemed to be relatively steady, but a few Threat Increases on my end would push people back from 80 to 50 ish.

The only thing that I cannot find is Taunt Amount items/buffs. Aggression will increase your Taunt to obviously, and the Threat Crit is nice too. Was really cool seeing a 14k Threat Crit.

I finally got test to load and still need to do some tests since I couldn't find anyone to help me with them last night. I am still undecided on how this change is going to affect holding agro.

The only taunt increase item I have found is the TSO set bracers. With those and the str line AA at lvl 8, our single target taunt at m2 was over 9100 threat.
