Falken, here is the way I see it.

Having a forum sticky on CAs would help with a few things, first it would allow other classes to visually understand us better, let everyone know our spell progression by level, and then for those CAs that have a confusing explination, it would explain not only maybe the functional use, but also the ideal time to use.

For instance from reading the above and then testing in game, I now keep off of reinforcement as much as possible and wait or prepare for a burn or a dispatch call.

But this is also why its not needed because I and many other guardians will totally disagree with this. We have more snap aggro tools than ever now and rescue is down to almost no recast compared to what it used to be. This skill is far to useful to be saved especially when you have its recast cut in half with aa's as well.

Its one of my first ca's every fight it is up. And yes I agree with you the brig should be fully debuffing in the first few seconds of the fight with this up. My brig is one of our best players and one of the higher parsers. I have to use it most of the time for him to parse as high as he does. This wont always be the case for everyone which is why there is no solid cast order.

Your cast order may work in your guild right now. If you then join a guild that parses 30k more on average then it may not work. (this is certainly not a shot at yours or anyones guild, I didnt even take the time to look at what guild it was) I am just saying I see people here placing priority on ca's that they swear work for them to which I have tested and they don't work for me.

Also just about every expansion has caused me to change or tweak my order and I am 100% certain when the new changes go in it will need it again. My advice is to jump in and raid as much as possible. Find out who is stealing aggro and why. If its the same person over and over try to somewhat learn as much about their class as well and keep in constant communication with them......vent binds, tell macro, whatever works.

I have raided with a warlock that would put out numbers 30% less than my old warlock yet he would pull aggro all the time. This is obviously a case of him not knowing aggro managment not me. Other times it was me that needed to adjust.

I am not new to tanking, but I am in the process of setting up a rotation of CA abilities. For now, most times I start off with with an AoE taunt off the bat, then Decimate line, Accelerated Strikes from Int AA line, single target taunt, and then mash the rest out. MY DPS is horrible, but again I dont know my CA's well as of yet.

My next question when is the best time to cast reinforcement, at the start of the fight, mid way, when you lose agro (which is not pretty), or when ever?

In terms of the situtational spellls like Sentry Watch and Sentinel Sphere, Are they even worth using and focusing on them. What is the ideal time and situation to use them. I have not used these CAs yet.

When you lose agro, and all the snap agro tools are down, what can you all suggest that I cast to support the raid or group. I know that we have an AoE type shielding spell for the group I can cast, a single target shielding for 1 hit, intercede... but The spell I am most confused about, and I cant remember its name, but you can cast it on a group member, its on a timer, but its spell descrition says that if the target dies, one of the effects is that it casts reinforecement. By reading the spell descrition I dont understand the purpose or function of this spell as of yet.

i would hardley say im trying to revive it, i left a post on an old thread and find i am more or less defending myself on why i did is all... why the hell would i want to "revive" it ?
