Fighter Changes

So, I've heard conflicting stories. Some ppl say that they are forging on ahead with all the changes, while a second says that he has a reliable source that says they've been scrapped. I haven't been able to find a post anywhere, here or official forums, stating that they HAVE in fact scrapped them. Anybody else have any info?

If they have scrapped the fighter changes it would probably mean Aeralik is out and I doubt that is the case. I don't know if they are forging ahead on everything, rather testing the changes out the best they can and making adjustments.

Has anyone from here actually been on test in a raid to play around with anything? Im too lazy but it would definately be interesting to have some input from someone who has.

The fighter changes are still up on test, but there haven't been much in the way of changes in a while. Someone told me something similar about the fighter changes being scrapped but at this point I don't see how thats possible.

I don't see how after 4 years they decide to "try" and fix it. EQ3, make your changes there and just leave this one alone.

Can't argue with that other then it might be interesting for awhile to change how you play.....meh.

Im really not looking forward to this Fighter aggro Changes. Cant see what wrong with the current set up. Its not as if we are parseing 7 -8k on a regular basis. So arent really at the races there. cmon soe leave the aggro system alone and save it for EQ3 if there is going to be one

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I was really looking forward to these changes and I am disappointed they didnt go ahead. On the other hand I am glad SOE are finally listening to its player base but I think it will most likely end up as just a PR stunt and they will do it their way anyway.

Well its not that they aren't going ahead, they are rolling them back and taking another swing at it. They still stated they felt the changes are necessary and never retracted that comment in the producers letter, in fact it was reiterated. We'll probably see the changes show up still but further down the road or in increments. Its interesting the letter says they know they didn't listen to us in the past but they are ready to now .. lol.
