We beat him a few days back, still needed descent dps once you get him below the snake (60 percent - and after the first snake placement). We didn't use the shroom or badger, but we know the concept.

Last night though, we believe they broke him. We suspect they wanted to make folks use the items more. So we started to use them.

He was stunning our raid force, even when the badger was in place. Others were saying the same in the world wide channel. My healers were unable to cast, even though they were no longer hitting him (and were backed out of range - which seemed to help only a little bit).

I suspect they will have it fix within the next day or two (concerning the stuns). As far as the dps goes, probably still going to need it.

We killed it last night just, I think they nerfed it into oblivion cause our raidwide dps was like 16k because of all the stuns and it still died. We had to put out like 50k before yesterday's patch to get it dead.

I'm guessing your dps went way up, after you got past the stun phase. Last night we didnt make it to shroom or snake phase. I had two healers in my group (defiler alt, and a warden).
We had used the badger too, which gives you the buff to avoid the stuns. It did show on our stats so I know we were in range, yet everyone kept getting stunned.

We had beaten the mob before, but last night it was flakey. We heard others on report the same issues, so we just called it an early night.

Since you got past the stun phase, I may go back in. I'll bring 2 healers that are mains (a templar with defiler or mystic), and see if we can just bully through it.

We managed to take Digg down in a raid with a few pick-ups, took us a while though. We only had 26k dps (and on cleaner fights we only got as high as 35k). We completely ignored the badger and mushroom so that we could focus entirely on the snake. The main factor I think in us killing it was the switch to purely auto-attack for not high melee dpsers. As the Toxin seems to only proc off melee attacks it's all about having as many people meleeing as often as possible.

The toxin only reduces healing by 5%, so you have to have 20 of the effect on him at once to completely negate the heal. It also makes up for a fare amount of dps with the damage component on it.

MT group was Guard, Assassin, Coercer, Dirge, Inquisitor, Mystic. Group 2 was Assassin, Swashy, Paladin, Defiler, Dirge, Necromancer.

Yep, it was much easier, and my last group had really low dps. We noticed he went back to the badger even after the snake cycle. First time we had seen that, but we were killing so slowely.

That's because he was made easier in the tuesday hotfix.

His heal was greatly reduced in size (that or the snake venom was greatly increased in effectiveness) but the badger and mushroom calls now seem to hit a bit harder to encourage you to get them. Now he seems to start calling random things after the first snake cycle (can get snake called again if you're slow).

Definitely easier now, but I would recommend fetching both badger and snake. The random stun proc off Digg when the badger is not fetched is annoying as hell.

badger = 100% chance to get stunned when you inflict ANY damage on the mob.

either get the badger totem, or simply have your healers stop dpsing when badger is active and cure that shite

mushroom = some minor uncurable poison dot, debuffing BOE and CA-damage
