Since ToS is such a slow cast, I find this macro, with AA Block to be veryuseful:
/cancel_spellcast
/equip disposable shield
/equip good shield
/cast AA Block
/cast ToS
Since you can only change equipment every 2 seconds, the disposable shield will be equipped, immediately followed by the fast casting AA Block (1 stoneskin) and then the slow casting ToS (3 stoneskin). When the ToS has expired just hit the same macro again and your good shield will swap back in since the disposable shield is currently equiped.

I use a similar macro with range pulls since I have found bags, in general, to have much better stats than most bows, but need the bow for range on pulls.
/equip bag
/equip bow
/range autoattack
Since you are not in combat on the pull, the 2 sec equipment swap rule is not in effect. So your bow will be equipped and you will fire an arrow. wait 2 sec, then hit the same macro again to switch back to the bag with nice stats.

A macro I like to use is for stances just add in your stance twice for use spell/ability and you got your self a one click stance change

I like this idea but I can not get it to work.
When I put /range autoattack the macro returns "unknown command"
Are you using the in game macro with standard UI?
I even attempted to drag my ranged attack icon to the macro but it would not support this.

I dont know, maybe i am old school as fuck, but the only thing i have ever macro'd was shield/ToS swap, but as Tru has already pointed out it is rather useless as most raids have 6+ mender bots at thier disposal.

I quit doing this before mender bots was even something many in our raid had. You get to the point where everything is easy mode anyway. Which i think we should be in TSO by now.

I used to macro recapture back in RoK as well. Not for anything useful of course.

I got a problem with my Cure potion macros.

line one is: /cancel_spellcast
line two is: use potion (got separate macros for each pot)

The macro works, except when i put my raid bag in the bank.
I keep a redwood box with 500 of each potion and several stacks of infusions and reductions in it for slackers that run out.

When I'm groupin' or soloing that box is in the bank and when I hit the macro it says I can't use stuff from my bank.

I do keep a stack of each potion in a different bag in my inventory.

Is there a way to fix this short of carrying the raid bag all the time?

don't keep pots in your bank or use pots directly off your hot bard it's not like guards have any longcasting ca's. since the days of HoF in kos i keep my pots right under the cure icon so when i want to cure something i just hit the pot right under it.
