Ok, so beyond the fact that it gets resisted 90% of the time, I've found that even when it lands it sometimes doesn't work, which is frustrating (for lack of a better word).

Not really a big deal scenario, but the memwiping trash in YIS doesn't seem to respond to CotW. Also, there are a couple instanced nameds that, even when it's not resisted, just flat out doesn't work (it has never worked for me on Varsoon for example).

Anyone else experiencing the same level of frustration, or noticing that it just doesn't work? I realize that this ability in general is a little overkill in 99% of the situations a tank faces, but seriously...

Is this just a broken ability, or is it just useless because of it's resist and/or immunity factor?

some mobs are immune to peel effects, so if it lands and doeasnt seem to have worked. all that means is the hate position/hate aspect of the skill has landed and the mob has resisted the peel.

it sucks, everything in TSO is immune almost (cept heroics).

Trumak

The reason beyond the fact that target lock doesn't work on like any tso raid mob is that you get dropped down more than 2 positions on the memwipe. Like the trash you mention in YIS 2 positions isn't enough to get the mob back by itself.
