The mythical is aimed at raiding, not grouping... when i'm in raid i have a coercer and don't need a power proc. Mythical should be something special would love to see passive hate gain like most of the other tanks, and would consider giving up my first born for immunity to at least 1 of the following, either perminate or added to myth proc: Knockback, Disarm, Teleport, Target Clear/Lock.

Power proc = waste
Shield dmg removed = waste
I could see some sort of hate gain ability built into it with fighter changes if that comes to light. Something will have to be done though, because as of now going full defensive even in the most balaneced raid setting is not quite an option, everything is built around dps.
IMO I rather like the dps side which we have now, but whatever they want to change it to, some will adept and others will reroll.

Some of you might flame me, but hell, why not have the myth proc a ST reinforcement.
The myth should be game breaking, where the Guard myth right now SUCKS BALLS, and if guards are the premier ST tank, then they should at least put a mob on LOCK down.
This would still allow AoE tanks to do their job, and not bitch.
Just an idea.

I read a guy's suggestion once and thought it really had potential. 25% of the damage from our stoneshields is added in threat. With sentinel sphere(personal), percussion of stone(dirge) and unyielding benediction(templar) stoneshields, that would be quite abit of hate. Granted, this helps raid tanks much more than instance tanks, unless you want to ensure your groups always contain a templar and dirge.

that was me cuz im the fookin shizzle wizzle!
1) TSO end line ability: Veteren's Sheilding = +1% Crit mit and +1% to all worn armor mitigation, per rank. Total of +5%/+5%
2) FIX Mythical: Mythical should generate 25% of a stone skin into Hate, Increase Stoneskin proc chance of Sentinal Sphere and Restore full time 10% reduction.
3) Double all numeric threat values for Guardians on any ability that has that effect. its not DPS, its just threat. and make the passive HtL buffs unresistable.
4)Sentenal Strike and Cry of the Warrior should land more often.
5) TSO endline:Tower of Steel. +1 stoneskin on TOS.
6) TOS Endline: Repremand = +1000 hate and +4 position per rank.
7) Add H8 to Sheild Slam ability.

it shoulden't be added as a mythical upgrade it should just be made to not damg the shild period or the toher tanks tower of stone like abilitys should dmg their weapons/shilds/armor or something.. it's no longer the only ability of it's kind and it's bullshit devs gave it to the other tanks with out the dmg...

I like the immunity proc to fear/stun/etc... I wouldn't want that to be removed.
They should just consider adding that Moderate is groupwide for instances/etc... and for raids can be used on a single target raidwide.
The hate from Stonekins would be crazy at 25%, and in raids I proc stoneskins consistantly between 20-30k, my window is spammed with it. That would really be easy mode for raid tanking.
Like Frog said, I like the DPS aspect of our abilties atm, as the game is DPS dependant.

Maybe... but 25% of 25k is like 6.2k or something. With hate mod at 50% would be roughly 9.3k. 9.3k threat when you proc a stoneskin might let us tank fully defensive... wouldn't that be amazing.
Maybe 12% would be more realistic though.

Well, 10-15% probably would be reasonable on the stoneskin, But with our class and the 9 or so stone skins we give ourselves, plus what ever we get from the group. But I believe it would be a nice boost to our hate.

what about instead of increasing the scope of moderate, by making it effect multiple people or people outside the group in the raid, why dont you just add a hate transfer to it. will increase our threat when in groups with high dps, or in raids with high dps when we need more threat, and it wouldnt make us op by making holding aggro super easy, or making us dps too much. mastered it has a 36% decrease; with aa, it has a 46% increase. so if you make it so half the threat taken from the target is added to your threat, you're looking at a 18-23% hate transfer from any class.
