I believe the splitpaw taunt shares the same cooldown with your main taunt t8...not really worth it to use the sp one at all. If some of the lower level masters that dont upgrade arent cheap for some reason I would start with those. If you are missing alot of masters that is.

Never had a reason to use it since I betrayed guardian, and timing some bullshit death save with healers, considering since this expansion mostly all of them have to be told when to cure a curse or any other det isn't on the top of my list of things to do.

If tos isn't up, or a healer DS, or block, tink save, etc.... I guess the OT will just have to do his job.

I always hit it when a harder boss mob is low hp. Has saved me a few times.

My luck idiots would die around the 5%'ish mark and the consume soul effect would kick in and I would get Blam'd in the face after.

But what your saying is the only usefullness for that and a guardian.

I dont have any masters, so I was thinking about what would be the best CA's to start with. I starting thinking about our taunts, but maybe our highest dmg CA's like Decimate would be much better, or our offense buff. What 4-5 CA's would you recommend for me to get the master lv?

i think getting masters of the defensive and offensive stance would be important for new people. defensive gives you a bit of survivability, and offensive gives you abit of extra threat when you have a strong healer.

after you get both of those, i would parse yourself while tanking, assuming everything is adept3, and whichever abilities parse the highest for you with your rotation would increase your dps and threat the most if you upgraded them.

less dmg to the shild = less having to deal with swaping and crap.

then do T8

Swapping? How often do you ToS? Are you wiping that often?

There is no reason to be using ToS enough to break a shield in an instance, and if you are you should probably find a different group. Block should cover you well enough and its no damage to the shield, but you do have to use it appropriately. If it is a raid scenario then you should probably have enough mendor bots floating around.

If not, spend a couple of hours, max out your tinkering and get yourself a mender bot.

In my opinion, if you are breaking your shield that much, consider a different tactic.
