Recapture - When do you use this?

Hi Guys

I just dinged lv 80 and was suprised to find our lv 80 class defining ability as a buff that helps all other fighters. Help me here, its got no use in groups with me as only tank...right?. So that leaves raids - when do you use it in raids?.

aktualy it is not even good in raids. There are few encounters where ist is a nice button to hit, but that is very rare.
Almost a waste of loam.

There's quite a few fights where it's good to use even as mt. From the top of my head: Maestro, Xebnok, Silverwing, Pawbuster and Twins (in kor-sha). Then if you're not MT it's even more usefull I'd assume, pretty much anytime someone peels from the MT.

good ability. u use it in any fight in which fighters must be pushed to the top of the hate list. or to hand off a mob for a tank swap. mem wiping mobs loose to this ability. We run with 2 guards at times and easily control aggro via recapturing back and forth to each other.

seems some players can use this ability better and more efficient then me. I have had more trouble then good with it.

I use recapture when the guild SK is taking to much agro and he drops it just before he dies. =-)

It great for Gynok to snap to backup tank so they take the DT or on Xebnok so the OT gets charmed instead of you.

I use on stuff like switchmaster when SK is in the raid so I don't have to drag the mob around when going into the portal with piss vision, same on mynzak when I get purple vision... xebnok when charm is about to hit I recapture onto SK so he can eat the charm. :P
I also use it on mem wiping mobs because I know sacrament is probably already being hit so I won't be getting it back any time soon anyway and it helps him pick it up just that little bit faster.

I am always surprised at how ften it gets resisted though, at least its a fast reuse on resist.
