Seriously, I never use rescue on pull.

Re: Rescues and such
You do use Reinforcement, though, and that's pretty much the same thing. The point is that you are not waiting to lose aggro before you hit snap aggro... you just choose to burn one snap aggro instead of two.

On named I'll just do the same rotation, but if it has some sort of control effect or its something the raid wants to burn down asap, I just put reinforcement before Decimate, rinse and repeat.

Just as a reminder something I posted in August.... And you specifically said I would like to see who thinks its retarded to lead off with rescue on pull, i bet you never raided.
Then you edit your post after I say "Seriously, I never use rescue on pull. Then retort back with an edited version of I am holier than thou speech.
*edited for misspelling*

Re: Rescues and such
using rescue on pull is a waste, since the mob has 0 aggro the taunt goes through, which is about 7k, but the postion increase is wasted.
Edit- I agree with Frog, if its something i want to die fast and have no issue, /reinforcement and burn it. With our self jcap reinforcement comes back alot faster.

I was using the word "rescue" in place of "snap aggro", and I went back to clear that up. I don't really care what snap aggro ability you use on pull. You use one; that was the point: you use snap aggro prior to losing aggro.

Again, like I said 3 months ago if it is just a burn fight then I will, other than that I do not use "snap agro" on pull.
This concept cannot be that difficult.

Re: Rescues and such
I like sentry watch and or sentinel sphere pre pull then go into decimate/acc ect. Gonna agree with others that there isnt much reason to *rescue* for a pull. It should be a reactive ability not a starter ability.

Re: Rescues and such
Big thing with rescue is it cannot be resisted (or parried/blocked/deflected), so in a fight with no memory wipes or aggro issues, rescue can effectively be used on pull as a 100% sure thing. Obviously, you would avoid using it in a situation where you might actually use the snap later in the fight, but there are plenty of situations where rescue on pull is a good conservative choice. As a guardian you also have decimate, which basically accomplishes the same thing with a smaller range, add reinforcement if you really want a sure thing.

So can reinforcement + decimate... and it refreshes alot faster.. Again.. you dont need 8 hate position increase on inc la~
