Does raid-quality gear drop off of junk mobs in WoW?

Kind of, it's crafted from group instance drops.

Grind, I just read this, it's the best nub Guardian guide on the Internet for EQ2. Good job, you may want to sticky it, but it's up to you.

definitely the best advice i've found anywhere

my girl and i are a little lost, and very much sick of this kelethin zone, but we're too noob to go anywhere else. every time we try to run out of the zone there are lvl 36 creatures

ok. so i got to lvl 19 last night, and i can kill even level mobs, but i have to spam my abilities to death, and can kill 2 mobs before i run dangerously low on health. is that normal?

we found some rock elementals that are lvl 20-21, so i guess we'll go there and grind a couple levels and hope we find some way out of this damn kelethin place. i liked the scenery in the beginning, but now i am way over it

I believe Butcherblock is your next area you need to go to, which would be level 20~. Or you could try and migrate to Antonica, and level around there and thundering steppes, which would be "old school".

I never made a fae character past like level 11. So i'm not to certain about zone levels in Gfay.

last night was a good night. finally hit lvl 20 and upgraded every piece of gear on me at the auction house. wearing all lvl 20 plate armor now, and replaced all that lvl 2 leather and junk chainmail (which was the only thing available pre-20). my armor went from like 289 to 1000

i grabbed a 13.9 dps level 20 1h spear and good shield and went back to those rock elementals on the east side of the zone. absolutely crushed them. i can now kill about 7 blues in a row before i need power. i was bitching about having to sit for power regen taking so long, and was like "so is this why they call this game Evercamp?"

so my friend made me some high level water that restores power, so now i'm good to go

i'm wondering, though, if i should try a high dps 2h weapon since now i'm not getting hit nearly as hard? i know my shield is helping with that, but i'm killing rather quickly with my 1hander

i'm still not sure about slahing/piercing/crushing differences. in Asheron's Call, some mobs were vulnverable to different weapon types and you just had to carry a bunch of weapons and try them all out

also, in many other games, lvl 20 is a milestone and usually a sort of mini quest starts. is that also here?

You level so quickly doing those quests that you would be around level 26 or so before you get all the pieces. They're really not worth doing other than for the AA, since they're a timesink when it comes to levelling.

Mastercrafted armour is probably the best you're going to get up until T7.

It used to be the case, especially in raids where some mobs were immune or highly resistant to certain damage types. The mechanic is pretty redundant these days though.

You weapon choice is usually based around certain AA's or just what's the best weapon, regardless of damage tyoe.

(Note, other classes can only use certain damage type weapons. As a warrior you can use everything and don't have to worry.)
