Anyone have it and tank with it on easy named and most trash. Just got it and I am certainly going to give it a go. I dont see any issues with it a bit more dps for me since I am not buckler specced anyhow.

So have you been able to test out that pimp sword yet? How does it work using a 2 handed weapon on raids? Is the dmg taken higher than with a sword and board?

I have the sword, while not a guardian, I tank with it in certain situations. Mostly for trash. I can't think of a time you'd ever use it with Named. I have OT with it many times including Avatar adds and Contested Mayong adds.

imo, guardians should be the last class to loot this sword. The 44 def and HP proc is nice, but you lose a shit ton avoidance which poses a problem with long fights. It's great on adds that die fast.

Higher amount of damage taken of course, cause you have lower avoidance.. duh

I got one, havent really played with it much, but from playing with it, its not very impressive. The proc is nice for immunity to stun/mez. Otherwise its garbage. My suggestion is make it like the GK sword/halberd. Make it a transformer weapon into a 1h sword.

I only got it cause i 'lost' a roll against our zerker. Our crusaders both have one.

I just want the sword so I can beat decent healers in a duel. The way I understand it increases your max health for 1k, increases your health by 1k, gives you a ward for 1k.

If I get it I'l tank contested mayong with it in offensive stance then make a video of it just so Grinds will stop being a pussy and go get stamina line.

Well I tanked all named even Mayong for a bit last night in MMIS and all trash but courtesan groups with it. DPS was up and healing was the same again with all these fights mobs get so sissified it dont matter whether you use a shield or not. Hits are 3k to 4k+ on crits with just dirge in my group so only had 40ish% dps mod. I expect to do quite a bit more with a coercer in the group with all the added dps boost. I dont know personal preference but if the healers are not expending anymore power to heal me why not use it I am not buckler specced obviously. Next run in EH which will be next weekend the trash there specially 3rd floor is a good test of it. I hardly got stunned at all on Mayong though used it from about 90% till under 30% then hit a spike and swapped it out for the rest of the fight. During that interval though proc was up damn near the whole time and it sure was nice.

So what kind of DPS are you putting out with it? And would you feel comfortable placing a coercer in group and taking out a warden for DPS purposes?
