I tank trash in offensive cause it's so easy, but other than that, I dont see the benefit of tanking in offensive. The guardian's offensive stance sucks ass compared to a zerkers. I get an extra 130 strength yay /gag. Anyway, we always run a warden in MT group for Primitive Instinct so I'm hitting the mobs just fine. I'm getting a little better with aggro now, but I guess I'm going to have to face the facts that guards are not zerkers, and I actually have to work to hold hate now.......damn my job used to be easy

Successful taunts, including ones from procs on gear, do NOT show up on a parse. What does show up, is the resisted ones.
The Vikomt obviously will show more resists, because it is an encounter proc. Other mobs in the encounter that the raid is not debuffing as much (because they aren't targetting them yet) will be able to resist more.

Well I think I see your problem with aoe encounters from the start. You aren't using an Main Assist. You stated you do this this this then call for assist. If you have an MA you can tab through your targets landing dots and large smacks in a nice even spread and hit your /assist MA macro to go back to the main target periodicly. I normally run it like this Body pull the 4+ encounter. Protection, plant, Reinforce (silently), and go CA (tab) CA (tab) CA, (MA assist macro) CA CA CA, (Tab) CA. You get the idea. Using this you will hold agro most of the time and the MA is keeping the Raid on the target giving you the ability to cycle around keeping your hate even on all the mobs in the encounter and keeping your Warlocks and AOE casters alive. Also use a swash for hate gain in MT group because it's AOE inclusive.

I see some possible lost agro in your agi line. I would recommend going with 4, 4, 8, 7, 1. The extra point to the aoe trigger gives another 5% which equates to quite a bit more aoe hate for a long fight.

I used to MA for a guard semi regually - he cycled targets while I concentrated on one... and if I hit sigil of herosim (group transfer of hate to me) he hit reinforcement and his hate shot through the roof. Tried to talk our guild guard into letting me use sigil to co-inicide with with his reinforcement but he doesn't like me using *any* taunts/transfers; but i worked it out once and you can bascially double your hate depending on which group the pally is in; and its particually effective against AoE groups with cyclone.

Dunno if that is any help.
