Oh btw, for Guardian I'm firmly behind Grind. You want to be the ultimate tank, at least I do. That's why I play guardian. Buckler spec IS nice because I've messed around with it before I betrayed to Guardian as a Zerker.

Jaraxx how many healers do you guys run on average?

just wondering

I always thought the fewer times the tank got hit the better. This is coming from a defiler(old main, but gets more play time these days).

I am Sta 4-4-8-8 Str 4 4 8 7 1. When we first started raiding we only had a Coercer for hate support, so I took that line. I have yet to try anything different.

Fair enough, but i never stated it was.. I said this is why "I" choose to use buckler.

Np, I should be clear too I was refering to CL's raid dps as a whole and not their mt's. But anyway...

Grinds, without buckler you lose agro much? Speaking strictly single target here, over 35k?

Oh hell yea i'm sure they are above the 35k mark, but damn i'm loveing seeing Genesis hit that mark.. mmhmm goodness..

And to follow up on Eth's question Grind, what raid agro setup do you use? 2 healers and 3 agro? or 3 healers and 2 agro?

Because yea like others have stated, for the absolute survivability tower is the way to go, but thats a full defensive Guard. Which i was before EoF, but when the raid started to out agro my DPS/agro abilities i switched to buckler, and so far we haven't looked back.

hmm... anyone know if your second attack when you double attack can trigger dragoons cyclone? i would suspect that it can't... but that would be sweet if it did.

I'm a numbers crunching dps whore that became tank out of necessity, I'm still my guilds tank because I'm fairly decent at it. I also enjoy taking a class not specifically designed to deal massive dps to it's limits and expose the slackers. I tank just as well with either a tower or a buckler as long as I spec my AA's accordingly.

Thats why I chose to use buckler.

Because 2.6k dps is fun and you can always just swap out a tower shield if things get thick
