From what I understand that is only when Fury is active. AKA taunts are only increased by 15% when you are below 50% HP. Worthless.

If it really does add 15% threat at all times in addition to the conditional effect on EF then I'll whine a little less about the transfer/redux nerfs, but I highly doubt that is the case.

Its all in prep for the god damn expansion then next tier of transfers for the swashy and assassin will be back up to the mid 20%. They should have just made those 2 abilities a ancient spell and left it as is i mean 25% for the lifetime of the toon is gonna be the same across the level range. Just I can see why they dont want those xfers to be 35 to 40%. They just need to actually think a bit before they do shit.

Generally speaking I think they are trying to make our jobs harder. They are reducing our ability to generate aggro through double attack (on single target named where in the end it matters). They are cutting the aggro transfer of assassin's and swashies to 16%, and the only lines that make even a modicum of sense now are Str/Agi or Agi/Int. It seems to me that they have actually made guardians even more cookie-cutter than they were to begin with.

I would expect to see more tweaking of the AAs until RoK is released as I think they are going to just let us spend 25 more points in each tree and be completely lazy in designing a new tree. Like I said that xfer thing is so it doesnt get out of hand with the upgrades I agree complete bullshit but hey this is soe remember not the brightest of them all. Will be interesting for sure but single target aggro was and will never EVER be a issue and I was never once buckler specced. AE aggro is the issue always has and will be and more so now until RoK and those xfers are back up.

One thing to note though having a dirge, coercer and a xfer in the group will still be really solid i believe as now the coercer will xfer 17% hate to us and have the hate gain on it just a small %. Roll with that and aggro should be fine through the rest of this until RoK is out.

wow... looking at the Int changes that seems to be where the good money will be now considering our drop in dps from the changes in the buckler line.

Intelligence 5 - Relentless Assault: Increased reuse speed bonus to 12%.
So they double the reuse speed bonus into the realm of something worthwhile...

but perhaps more importantly:
Intelligence 2 - Acceleration Strike: Is now a melee attack that triggers additional 25% Haste/Casting/Recovery speed after 3 additional combat arts.
A 25% bonus to Haste, Reuse and Recovery on top to the static 12% form the final line ability sounds like it could be extremely useful.

I just grinded a char on test to 10 to take a peek.

The 15% threat on EF is indeed only active when below 50% hp. As I thought, worthless.

The buckler line does indeed still require a buckler, though I had little doubt about that.

At this point I think I plan on checking out 4/4/5/8 str, 4/4/8/6/2 agi, 4/1 int.

That tweak to the final ability in int is pretty appealing though, so I might end up giving full str/int a shot.

Can't wait for this to go live so I can test this stuff out on raids~

my question is there any raid guards that won't take agi after lu36? 40% auto attack on mobs in AoE (+ reinforcements almost = zerker's gibe) and 3 min recast on Reflexes, imo makes agi line extremely useful? and with no weapon restrictions, I don't have to find a gd decent spear =p to use the extra AoE

yah agi line looks really nice with the new update coming
im still gonna give buckler a shot and see how it pans out tho, so instead of sitting at 98% double attack ill be at 82, sucks but oh well still pretty friggin nice.
and yah losing the block sucks too, but oh well, i aint gonna write that off until i try it out
