    Default Champions Interception

    When reading this prestige ability it says that when toggles off it will return up to 50% of the incriments of champions insight used back to the caster. Ive noticed when using the ability that is a lie. Ive used it at 50 incriments and waited till i had like 2 seconds left toggled it off and it only returned 6 back to me. IS anyone else able to confirm this? Seems like alot of our prestige abilities are broken to me.

    This spells is incredibly broken for pvp/bg....not that anyone gives a shit.

    That is because your grp was only hit x amount of times which granted 6 back. It is based on how much inc damage is on the grp. So if adds spawn and are on MT healers for example, hit this, they get hit a lot and you get x amount of charges back.

    The faster you turn it off, the more you get back.....so hit it - aoe hits - turn it off.....

    Actually no, the more your group gets hit while champions interception is active, be it by AEs or melee damage, the more you get back. It says that If toggled off early, returns up to 50% of the increments of Champion's Sight USED.

    You sure about that Rhita? I read it as returning more the less time it's up, up to 50%. I believe you do gain increments still while interception is active though, honestly though I can't say I've paid that much attention to it, I just know I use it just prior to AOE's and I toggle it off right after the AOE is cured to get increments back


    If Cast with 50 increments:
    So if you let it run the full 12 seconds, you loose all 50, if you let it run 6 seconds you get maybe 10 back, if it's on, then off again it will return 25.

    Here's how things actually work regarding increments/counters and Champion's Interception:

    You get two actively cast buffs, Champion's Watch and Champion's Interception and one increment/counter buff, Champion's Sight.

    Champion's Watch is up at all times. Whenever a non-fighter in your group takes damage from an AE, targeted spell, CA, or auto-attack, Champion's Watch gives you one Champion's Sight increment. You can have up to 50 increments at any given time.

    Champion's Interception is a temporary buff. Whenever you use it, you immediately lose every single Champion's Sight increment you had at the moment you activated the ability. When you toggle Champion's Interception off early, you get anywhere from a single to 50% of the increments you had before you activated Champion's Interception.

    Whether Champion's Interception is running or not, you never stop earning increments from Champion's Watch, so when an AE hits the group, you get 5 increments no matter what. If it tick once after that on everyone, you get 10 increments. If the AE hits multiple times instantly, you get 5 increments (i.e. one per non-fighter group member) per time it hits.

    Now, what will often happen during a fight is this:

    You build up 50 increments.

    You use CI right before an AE. You will immediately see all your Champion's Sight increments disappear.

    The AE hits. Suddenly, a stack of Champion's Sight increments appear, let's assume 5 for the sake of argument. That would have happened no matter what, since your group took damage and Champion's Watch is always running.

    You toggle off Champion's Interception. The stack of Champion's Sight increments you got a moment earlier will now be increased by perhaps 20 counters, leaving you at 25.

    And that's all there is to it.
