If a GM has the right to say to SOE that "currently under investigation" to any situation then to change a name of a character with out going through the proper channels (though the person under ownership is SOE not the person using that name), only to have someone who /petitioned the so "banned by SOE" name to create a character under THAT same name only to harrass the person who used to have that name and his friends that he was initially /petitioning for harrassment. When NOTHING is done by SOE to that person, the people who see this as being wrong, will act to do something about it. The United States of America started a rebellion and then a war back in 1775–1783 for THAT exact reason. SOE has pretty much forced our hand at not doing anything in response to this except to state to leave him alone. The problem is once Khrack and Shianne did, Yuyoy pulled that stunt. I have complained to the BBB as has a few others, SOE no matter if it is an email, or a phone call, they state to contact a GM via a petition. IF the offending GM is the one receiving the complaint, i honestly don't see it going anywhere, THUS the reason why we are so up in arms about it. SOE tells us to contact the GM, GM does nothing except to tell Yuyoy who's petitioning against him, at least so it seems.. why else would i get a tell from him to say "leave me alone" when i haven't said much more than 2 sentences in 4 days (one to say thankyou the other to tell him that he should drop the subject). I mean what the hell else are we to do? Ignoring him obiviously didnt work, but if enough people get banned from 1 server and contacts BBB in reference to the harrassment by a GM (employed by SOE or otherwise) im sure that SOMETHING will get done.

I'm wondering how many ppl have had their station features drop from there account due to the "new account management software". I'm calling bullshit on this b/c I have not had any features drop on any of my 3 accounts. We should have a post or something with people who have or have not had their features drop.

I renewed my account without paying for it. Only because if I get banned/suspended from eq, i dont need it to hurt the pocket over Yuyoy's bashing that he will be recieving. Or from the new lastname that i'll have..

If you have or have not experience this problem that Shianne has had, please post it here. This way we have a leg to stand on when they try to use the pathetic defense of "its just what our new system is doing".

though i understand where you're coming from, and even agree with the majority of your points, i have to say that this situation wasn't a result of actions taken against yuyoy.
the epic this has become, isn't because of angry people trying to right a wrong over the original issue of this thread...
it has become this HUGE because of a failure on the customer service side of SOE.

when a company fails to act, for the betterment of the hundreds of other paying customers, then that will doubtless cause the backlash occurring now.

the majority of people, even on this site, talk alot of mad shit (i know i do, at times)...and anyone who comes here is expecting that (for the most part), and everyonce in awhile (as is the case here) a wrong is committed, and people join forces to make that wrong a right.

while, i don't condone anyone doing anything to get themselves banned, i understand how angry people can be, over all of this...and until SOE (as a whole) does something to prevent yuyoy's continued disruptance of a server, then there are going to continue to be angry, paying customers dealing with this jerk, the only way they can.

when the system doesn't work, it's the people who suffer...and in this case, if the system is somehow being manipulated by one or two people, and an entire server is suffering, then things are going to get more out of hand, then they already are, until the system is fixed.

is a mob mentality a good thing? certainly, not.
is it needed, at times, to bring an outcry of justice? yes, it is....

*edited to add* i too, contacted the better business bureau, obviously not against yuyoy, but against SOE's managment of this situation, regarding their customer service inadequacy...

Problem with advance character profiles.

Here is a thread already Beer. Shianne I've had the same problem with getting the advanced features in eq2players to stick despite updating (and paying) my account. Don't see it having anything to do with yuyoy... unless his evil and corruption have penetrated the sony station account manager too.
