When we divorced my ex felt the need to tell everyone he met "my wifes a fucking whore, she fucked me over, i hate that stupid bitch" while calling me every night asking me if we could get back together.

This thread continues to deliver every day. I never heard of fark.com. But Farkers here may want to (if they have not already) do some research into the mmo subculture. Nozomi from LDL did her Masters (PhD even?) on the economics of the gamer's world *alone*. Add in the 3D viruality, the opportunity for voice communication, a world in which to direct ones efforts toward specific shared goals designed by others (slight difference from an a/s/l chatroom) ... and omg! What wonderful shit hits the fan! :D Would take a team of depth psychologists, 18 cages worth of monkeys, and atl least 5 years of federal grant funding to figure out why ANYONE part of this subculture does what they do.

But since you're a psych Winterstar, I'd like to see your outlook on it - not based on the 'averages' but based on the mmo/'cyberspace' mores of human interaction. Keepp in mind that very likely toward the end of their relationship they say more of eachothers pixels than eachother (the maried couple). They were still guilded together so were still able (and one would assume willing) to perform essential guild functions which involved the two of them working together harmoniously. Sooo. Come on. Toss out of theories. I'm curious, and bored at work.
