I have resisted and resisted taking part in this trainwreck because no good can come of it, surely.

But, since Draugluin refuses to sit back and drink a cup of STFU in this situation, I feel the need to help him out.

Look, Draug, hun. You know I know you from way back, and I never had any problems with you, but honestly? You're not helping Kai's case at all here, at least not with anyone who knows the least little bit about the situation. In fact, you're kinda adding to the making her look bad.

I mean, really. Of course *you* don't think there's anything wrong with throwing marriage vows out the window, or fucking on someone else's wife. It's kinda like Dog the Bounty Hunter telling people not to use the n-wor...oh wait.

Anyway, it's not like Shin painted himself to be the prettyman here(in fact, I think ya might have gone overboard on the self flaggelation a bit Mike, mistakes were made by all three of you), then to add insult to injury you pretty much tell him that you were another one she was cyber banging behind his back(And I remain..skeptical). That's not helpful to Jen.

So, if what you want to do is help her, send her an email, cuz by posting here, you're just adding to the bullshit.

Mike, you're right. Jake's a first class piece of shit. But we've all known that, for a very long time.(Or rather most of us did) I think that's why the AB folks aren't jumpin' his ass quite so much. Kinda like pickin' on the retarded kid, really. Especially since he refuses to publically deal with the mess he's making.

As for why people are focusing on Jen? *shrug* My guess is this: People don't like it when other people willfully throw their marriage vows in the trash. She has always had other choices. She's the one who was sealed to you in a holy ceremony, not him.

As for my own feelings? They don't matter here, and they're kinda complex, as I know both of ya. I worry, though, Mike, about you. Try to make the healthy choices *for you*, rather than the easy choices. You'll thank yourself in the long run.

Sar you are probably right. maybe I was a bit bitter toward Shintou, but after dealing with someone for so many years who did the same kind of things he has done and then tried to shrug it off by placing the blame onto other people I have very little tolerance for it. Like I said in my last post. If he is doing everything he can now to treat his illness then great. However part of that needs to be taking responsibility for what you did in the past and atoning for it.Coming here to start a witchhunt against the other parties involved is not accepting responsibility.

As for those who keep bringing up marriage vows. if they used the traditional vows part of it says "To love and cherish" He broke his vows as well. All three of them share blame in this. I have never denied this. The only thing that pisses me off is SHin trying to pass the buck. Stand up and be a man damn it. Proclaim loudly "I fucked up. What my wife did was wrong , but what I did drove her to it." Then forgive her, ask her to forgive you and ask for a chance to prove to her that you can be a better person.

And editing to add this. Shin if you truly have accepted you have a problem and are doing your best to get treatment good for you. If you do love her like you said so many times in the past then its time to stop this attention whoring crap and prove to her that you can be a husband that is worth being with. She wouldnt have stuck it out with you as long as she did if she didnt care about you.

So you weren't behind closed doors and are basing this all on one side you've never directly observed? I've sat front and center on too many divorces and I've learned a very valuable lesson- no matter how well you know the couple, you don't know shit.
