Its not just Gallenite either. Silverfrost (Don Nuefield) and some dude named Eric Swanson is leaving too and they're "doing a new project together".

I was told and he hinted in his post there may be a "good" chance he will he working with SoE in the future again.

This is what I understand also. I didn't want to say anything previously based on the fallout I got for announcing Scott was leaving.
Silverfrost is a talented, talented individual and has been a major backbone of EQ2 from the beginning. His and Scott's leaving are truly a major loss to this game.

While I am a bit sad to see Scott leave EQ2 and SOE, I am also excited to see what he can cook up on his own. The guy is incredibly talented, and could easily develop some quality games. He knows how to actually manage a project, too, so hopefully we won't see a repeat of Sigil.

Lets reserve judgement on Scott and Co until they put out a game, We saw it with Bill Roper and Hellgate (Big PoS apparently) and McQuaid with Vanguard, everyone praising them as the next messiahs of Gaming only to release absolute shit.
