So, getting back to south park ... I learned something today. We can pretty much say anything we want on here, as long as its in "quotes". I think I also learned that all those times I tried to flame elle(FG) by saying things such as "Last year for Halloween, LFG went as a 'glory hole' on a pirate ship and charged $1 a turn" might not quite hit home the way I hoped. Next time I'll try something more along the lines of "Elle likes to eat pussy"

You are still failing at context. Non of your examples cover the statement Cochy made.

It was an insult. He could have made a lot of better ones IMO, but he chose to express his anger by saying "Plat Stealing Jew". He doesn't know the GM and more likely than not, the GM probably isn't even Jewish. He wasn't joking.

In that context it was and is derogitory, based on a religious stereotype. He meant it as a statement of Character of the GM who deprived him. A GM so mean, so sucky, so fooking low that he was like a...."Plat Stealing Jew".

Interesting, in a post on a site where swearing is an art form, where most anything is allowed, he still chose that particular insult.

Context is fine. You cannot defend what was said by your examples of context as the intent of Cochy's statement was perfectly clear.

I know cochy a lot better than you do. We joke around a lot in vent. And he's called people a "jew" before in the exact same way.

He meant in jokingly, end of story.

Actually, he is just showing that he does not know when he should either just let it go, or at least make some sort of apology.

Instead of that, he decided (I will believe you on that) to make fun of a group of people who have been made fun off enough.

Thus trying to defuse the situation by trying to divert the fun being made of him to others. (maybe not the jews, but at least the Dev's.

Some could call it cowardice, after reading in this post of Cochy's behaviour I think its just immaturity.
