Yea there was no racial tension before reconstruction, becuase the slaves just loved that plantation. 1640s until 1865 you could legally own a black person as a slave. 225 years, my bad.

It's not the same concept because you're taking 2 people who are from different social societies, different wealth levels, and different geographical locations and comparing them. Of fucking course they're gonna have different outlooks on life.

On the other hand, the other concept was taking 2 people from the same society, same wealth level, and same geographical location, but 1 is white and the other is black. The difference in outlook from these 2 people is directly correlated to the society they are being raised in and its level of racism and discrimination. In some societies they'll have a very different outlook from one another, in some societies they'll have very similiar perspectives.
