The walmart mentality ruins economy, not supply and demand. Eventually the guys price would of dropped as his patience to make a buck faded or supply began to rise and they started undercutting each other, if it didn't he would of lost out himself.

The market changes with time. Right now, it is a "seller's" market in that prices are inflated. On Befallen, chat has several ads for people wanting to pay 5p for loams or trading 2 for 1 on other rares. Some are announcing they will pay 25 - 50p for their masters and rumor has it a necro pet went for well over 100p. "Ripping people off" is a gross overstatement.

And your opinion on the price is completely irrevelant. You don't go to the shop down the road either, hit the shopkeeper over the head and take their stuff for free just because you think they overprice. At least I hope so...

People on Kithicor pay 100P+ for shit all day. I personally know people with thousands of plat.

Something is worth whatever someone will pay for it. If someone gets another Execute Master 1 on Kith, I'd pay 100pp for it without even thinking twice.

100pp was expensive and gouging 3 expansions ago, but with raiders getting 2pp per kill in RoK, 100pp is nothing. Especially in a guild like Disso where you get 100pp a month for just being a member and making raids.

If we really do have all the facts, the chat logs show an agreement for 100pp for the master and nothing else. Call it an implied contract or whatever, but yeah, the guy lost 100pp. Again, I totally understand your veiwpoint and I think you'd lose your case/petition/whatever.
