Precisely, Kisy. Let's see. On one hand we have guild who inadvertently allows unsavory people and upon learning of them boots them.

On the other hand we have a guild that condones thievery.

Cochy is a thief and HIS guild couldn't care less. Anything he or his guild or his or their syncophants say about Noble Gravediggers (and yes, many fine people there) is nothing but inane and contrived.

You do understand that people roleplay in this game, right? I mean, you do understand that while you may know your friend in game's name is Bob, he isn't necessarily the same Bob that goes to his shitty job every day. In a way, playing EQ2 is acting. I find stealing IRL reprehensible. I would rather someone beat me than steal from me or me steal from them. But this is a game, where people can be as belligerent or as asshatish, or as douchebaggy as they want, because there are no RL consequences for such behavior.

Does that make sense? That is why Karma or whatever other crazy religious excuse for behavior can't exist in a fucking MMO.

I didn't think we were talking about roleplayers. And technically yes, there are RL consequences for such behavior. When your account gets banned, in real life, you can't log on and play the game. I'm referring to your extreme "as they want" here.

And before you say it, I do understand what you're saying, I just disagree with it. I feel the same way you do about stealing. Because I feel that way, I could never do that to someone else, even in a game. Those actions would still be my own, not committed by my character.

To each their own though.
