Jesus, you morons will stretch EVERYTHING to fit your agenda. Roleplaying an affair is actually having an affair, isn't it? Yes, you dumbfuck. I'm not talking about roleplaying an affair, nor am I really talking about roleplaying as we think of the perverts on AB. I mean that EQ2 personalities are WAY different than RL personalities, and as long as they are kept separate, there are no RL conseqences...(as long as you follow the EULA)

Roleplayers aside, how many people act differently playing their toon than they normally would? I act no differently playing/typing/talking in game than I would in RL. It reminds me of hopping on Xbox live and hearing a barrage of racial slurs, just because they're hidden behind a screen. I guess anonymity gives a special kind of courage not found playing with others face-to-face.

You're kind of there. It grants people the ability to be whatever/whoever they want to be. You can be mean, you can be a dick, you can be nice, you can be a whore(read Keigo) whatever it is, and these are restricted in RLs. It might not be that you WANT to make racial slurs, but in XBox Live, they come out. You take on a new persona. Like I said, its akin to acting, being involved in an online community is.

1.) I would be willing to wager a buck or two that you are just as big a douche as your online personae.

2.) As fun as it is to see you all bent out of shape, the whole point is likely moot.

If the kid reports Couchy and action is taken, he'll get fucked with for being such a dumbass and then a whiny bitch about it. If Couchy decides to roleplay that sweet exiled rat that once longed for Bayle's superiour breasts and gives the kid anything, we'll never hear about it.

In the end, he is probably just what I said he was: a kid. He may have been pissed but a good sport about what a dumbass he was and let it go. He may be frothing at the mouth, totally emo and still doesn't know what to do.

I just thought the double standards presented were funny.

The way I act IRL and on vent chatting with people is different then the way I act in game while typing and talking to random people. Those people dont know me, they just know my character who I can make to act like whatever I want. Like stated previously, there are little to no consequences for your video game actions. Its a video game and supposed to be a release and allow you to do shit that you can't IRL...like fuck over some dumb shit who can't read for 100plat.

Sometimes ill be all nice and help random people I never met, sometimes I'll purposely do shit that fucks with them cause its funny. And anyone who says they never did something to another player that they would be pissed about if done to them is a fucking liar.
