In EVE Online there is lawlessness, fraud, asshattery and plain out virtual murder in certain parts of the game (mainly 0.0). This is an accepted part of the game play as the game devs have made it clear, anything goes in 0.0 (aka the Wild West) space. I have never known EQ2 to make such claims in its gameplay, roleplaying or not. I have never seen the playerbase condone this type of behaviour as well. Therefore in my mind, the EQ2 "Culture" does not allow for certain types of behaviour including fraudulent transactions. Just because some do not like, what they perceive to be, price-gougers, does not mean said price-gougers should be ripped off. Start condoning this type of behaviour and open the floodgates for more of the same this time with fair, honest people getting taken.

I think I'm going to make a list of all the people who thought this was great, and make sure if I ever find myself sharing a server with them ... no hand to hand trades. In fact, no bartering of any kind. For you, buddy, the price is what it is. In fact, once I know you're interested in my 'one of kind' product, the price might go up if you don't buy it before I can get back to my broker. Log in a lvl 10 alt and I might consider helping you out with broker fees. But, none of the assholes that I've seen posting here are from my server, so its a moot point unless someone transfers.

If the kid reports Couchy and action is taken, he'll get fucked with for being such a dumbass and then a whiny bitch about it. If Couchy decides to roleplay that sweet exiled rat that once longed for Bayle's superiour breasts and gives the kid anything, we'll never hear about it.

In the end, he is probably just what I said he was: a kid. He may have been pissed but a good sport about what a dumbass he was and let it go. He may be frothing at the mouth, totally emo and still doesn't know what to do.

I just thought the double standards presented were funny.

I would like to note that I've never used duel-bet except with friends if we were moving plat or something and fucking around. I've never used it on a bot or anything. Its not my cup of tea....however, its a perfectly functional game mechanic.

And it's idiots like you and Laodaron that take the fun out of this game for some people. So you guys think ripping some poor noob off for 100p is funny and justified just because he didn't realize he was duped? Like I said before, I don't care if this is a game, it was never intended for anyone to STEAL 100p from anyone else. And you do realize that you can't say whatever you want in chat right? On Blackburrow Sepentius was banned for making fun of someone after their dad died. Let me guess you think that is funny too right? After all in this game we can steal, make fun of people's dead family members, curse, etc right? So everyone on the same server as these 2 please try to steal their names and mess them over then come post screenshots here, see how funny they think it is!

Number 1 - Its not stealing, owning maybe. Duping, could be. Not stealing.
Number 2 - I wouldn't ever do it, nor would I ever fall for it. However, I won't denigrate someone who does.
