T8 masters are high right now based on supply and demand. If you want to pay less, wait 3 to 6 months for the price to drop, and get AD3s to start.

The price of masters is what people will pay; you want to be the cool kid on the block with the first master, you pay a premium for it. The rest of us are coping with adept III or previous tier masters, so quit being whiny emo kids agonizing over not having your shiny fabled and buck up or let someone else with the cash pay for it. The fact that epics are dropping plat and you can make ridiculous amounts farming and solo questing in RoK means that we're in a new plat standard anyway. If you want a reasonable market wait until we actually know how frequently these things are gonna drop versus how much money people make. It'd be retarded to sell something for 40pp when you think you can get 100pp, that's how economies operate. I wouldn't expect a raid guild to wait a couple days and let another guild have a fair crack at a contested, nor would I expect anyone to cut prices out of charity.

The game is too easy, the game is too easy, OMG people are charging too much for masters, content will be slightly harder, we will have something to work towards for the next year! The humanity! Actually the fact that masters cost so much is what makes it possible for motivated people to acquire these masters before Average Joe gets their hands on them.

I don't give two shits right now about the price of masters, he had it up for 200p, to me that seems like a gouge, to others maybe not so much. Yes, I'm smarter then a piece of bark, I get the whole concept of basic economics and supply and demand.

And if I really wanted a master I'd have my woman buy it for me regardless of the price.

I know for a FACT it will get a response in a petition, and if the other dude has logs of the conversation than cochy is in for a world of hurt considering his past history, thats all Im saying.

Read the EULA. Plus with Cochy's record already: had to plead with CSRs just to get his account back, I doubt the outcome would be in his favor.

If his "record" gets him in trouble, then that's pretty shady on SOE's part. People get away with this all the time when they do it to plat-farmers or new players, and CSRs do nothing, but for whatever reason this price-gouging "guildie" should get special treatment because Cochy has a history?

I'm not arguing that it's fair or it's right, but having seen this happen on several occasions, I have never seen any discplinary action from Sony. I would be suprised to see a CSR force him to give it back or ban him, considering how often it happens and is ignored.

I agree with Psykil and Gaige on this. If the player petitioned, CS is likely to treat this as deception or theft in violation of the EULA. They are going to handle a petition like this from a legit player differently than from a toon named Wsldfjsalkd in a guild named "happy love guild".

The question is, did this guy /report and then petition?

If not, he's probably screwed out of the life savings he was expecting.

A great lesson in this is also, why help anyone out and agree to meet them to save broker fees. Just put your shit on the broker for what you want to sell it for and stop playing these retarded highball selling games.
