Tangarth, you and I have always gotten along and been friends. So no offense to you here either.

But I spent a good amount of time in both Disso and CL. I was in Disso for about 9 months as I recall.

And based on that, I think the players in each guild were about equally skilled. I definitely would not say anyone in CL was "way less skilled" than in Disso. I mean, let's face it, y'all had Quenthal. Each guild had its strengths and weaknesses, but one was not "better" than the other for sure.

I mean I have a great sense of humor, if any of my guild members or myself had done this to an actual legit player I would have laughed about it than given the guy his plat.. but apparently Cochy plays by example and if Disso tolerates this from members than I guess its no big deal to be an embarrasment to everyone but yourselves.

Where you're wrong is it's none of your business how we deal with members. We don't guild people based on their moral integrity. He fucked up and he has been punished both by soe and by the guild. But it doesn't hinder us at all we have 26 members so one missing still leaves someone sitting. What's embarrassing is we started a week later than everyone but are a day behind son.

I find it interesting that you appear to be using a condescending "son" in a post that finds no problem with lack of moral integrity.

Perhaps if you, as a guild leader, had a whit of integrity you would have used the "son" on Cochy as in "Son you gotta make this right" or something equally upstanding and so on, and perhaps you could have not only your helped guild by retaining a member, but also prodded Cochy into a bit of integrity himself.

Of course, sonny, this is a product of my thinking that there is good in everyone that just needs a nudge to be made apparent.

What I meant to say while drunk as a skunk, is that just becuase Gaige is there, doesn't mean CL should be talking to anyone about ethics, or bad people in a guild. One person doing something dumb and getting suspended isn't going to change anything with me, now I'm just going to IA someone else for a little while

There is good and bad here. The good was seeing the community coming together to demand action against a thief. The bad was the few that defended him.

Rather the guy was stupid or not, Cochy used his vunerablity of lack of knowledge of the duelbet window and lack of English skills to steal from him. Do you blame the old woman for keeping too big of a purse when she gets robbed? You can paint whatever picture you want around him but he is still a thief at the end.

There was one time in EQ1 that Cochy would of been kicked out of the guild and prett much banned from EQ1 society. With our lack of community here, Dissolution has done nothing but closed ranks on Cochy. It's sad to see such a low moral standard coming from such a skill guild. They've done amazing things. It just saddens me to see that you guys have the same low moral standards as most of our young society today.

Cochy, I know this is a game but real people play it giving real time. When you ripped him off, you were no different than a thief on the streets. You have proven to the world that you would rather cheat and steal than be a man. I feel sorry for you. Maybe your parents lack any kind of moral standard but you can change before it's too late.

I can only hope that you actually learned something.
