Personally, it looks like a total screwjob to me...and...it is ridiculous (to me) to argue anything different.

I mean, from the conversation, it is pretty clear that the guy thought he was selling the master. So, when Cochy initiated the duel, was it because Cochy is so retarded he picked the wrong one, he meant to hit trade, and accidently hit duel? Of course not.

Alot has been said on how obvious it is to tell the difference. Again, this must be the first time this has happened then, because noone would ever confuse it. (And again, Cochy must be an idiot for messing it up...right?) But, no, it is not only conceivable to mess this up in a lab environment, but has been repeated in the field multiple times.

Lastly, another big argument here is that the guy was a fool, retard, complete idiot, whatever. The guy lowered his price, in essence, doing a good deed, and was deceived. Lets assume the guy truly is a 'retard', his IQ is far lower than yours, his "street sense" is deplorable. Assume it to be an axiom. Is that how you roll?

For the guy who said maybe Cochy confused Noble Graveniggers with the whistling morticians, I myself have duel betted no less than 4 masters from botters in NGD over the past months. So acting like your clean is bullshit. With your open guild recruiting you have bred that type of environment whether you dont condone it or not.

I'm not so sure that this case isnt even the same. As far as I know, which what common sense is dictating to me and the sneaking suspicion I have, is that this Dreeg guy and the OP are the same person which is why he hasnt posted or made an account that i have seen. There is just way to much missing for me to still not believe hes a plat farmer especially with my previous and only interactions with this guild.

Furthermore, I find it very hypocritical that if this were to be posted in the botter section how different this would have been made. One thing is for sure. In the war on botters, even if this guy was legit, people get hit. The people that do get hit are what are called the bottom 1% of human intelligence so those people are expendable neways.

If you are asking me to recall a botters names that I interacted 1 time with over the course of many months, good luck. I did what everone else does and has already been pretty much rampant in this thread, associate the guild, botters come and go, but what you do is remember where they breed, check for names in the breeding ground then do searches on the broker that look out of the ordinary, is pretty simple and thats how ive found people that bot.

I wasnt really defending Cochy even though he is at the heart of teh matter. What I am defending is the process, because this is the only process that we have to fight botters with. With as notorious as this has become, this CS decision was pretty much like a supreme court case. Now botters will only have to /petition and get a player banned and get their plat, I think people have completely overlooked the huge picture of what has occurred.

EDIT-You know what, I know that Noble Gravediggers isn't a "bot" guild. BUT you sure as hell know they have gotten in before, and thats its been more than once, even if you kicked them yourself how can you blame other people for noticing. The only thing I can say is that them being in your own guild should make it pretty damn obvious, but when people like me find them out before you its pretty sad.

9 times out of 10, if a "bot" is petitioning you, they aren't a bot. The danger you all are slipping in to here is thinking that any ESL wearing mostly treasured and mastercrafted gear is a bot, and that simply isn't true. Does a drug pusher report you to the cops if you steal cash from him? Nope. Neither does a bot.
