If you're retarded enough not to be able to tell the difference between a duel-bet and a trade, you deserve that and shouldn't be playing EQ2 anyway.

OP is dumb for not paying any remote attention, maybe deserves what happened. But cochy is a piece of shit for what he did.

imo he should be banned. given his record and past history with bots, he'll keep doing it to other people unless he does / would get banned.

Some people have never dueled, and I'd wager that 99% of players have never duel bet.

The screens look very similar, and for someone that is used to doing a lot of trading and no duel betting, this is an easy mistake, especially if your sound isn't on and you play in first person

I don't want to suggest that SOE should change the duel bet screen, because it is provides such great entertainment when used against bots.

But, this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone doing this to a regular player, and especially one that's ten levels below him.

Yeah, I used to be able to FD out of group bots on my SK when they were trying to steal my named and nodes, until people began abusing that also.

100p is awfully high for a master though, especially considering that is without broker fees.

It's high for a master 9 months from now, sure.

It's not comparatively high for a good master two weeks after the expansion came out.
