Hey bud, I would never make fun of a disabled person, whether mentally or physically disabled.

But, if he is going to post here and chime in the way he does, no special treatment should be assumed or given. We don't allow people under 13 to post here, because they shouldn't be exposed to this type of environment and can't be expected to handle it or defend themselves. That isn't a fair fight. If your friend's situation falls into that category, even assuming he is above that age, he shouldn't post here, because nobody wants to feel like an asshole for telling him to STFU.

I go out of my way here to accommodate unique people like Calybium. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Cal except he is eccentric. If your friend can just be eccentric here without being quite so annoying, he is more than welcome.

Disabled people of all type usually require some kind of accommodation or else they wouldn't be disabled. If the people that see he is mentally handicapped, yet feel it isn't fair they need to hold back on him or acknowledge why he is the way he is, then that is their problem. I mean say some guy was being an asshole to some retarded kid, At least where i'm from there would be tons of people myself included right in that guys face about it because that kind of shit doesn't fly irl. If someone feels like an asshole for telling a mentally handicapped kid off, they SHOULD. I don't see why this should be any different

Its fucking bullshit your even bringing Disso as a whole into this especially with CLs track record of exploiting as well as their attendance policies. However if someone was getting married and they didnt suck, sure I wouldnt have a problem with them taking time off... They just wouldnt get loot for a couple weeks. Grats on getting hitched btw.

All people on this site are expected to be able to take what they dish out. If someone is incapable of doing that, they shouldn't post here in a manner that causes other people to flame them.

I would be the first person to skin someone alive for griefing a mentally disabled person or making fun of them just for sport. But, this RaR section ESPECIALLY is intended to be like the arena in the Roman Coliseum. If you aren't a gladiator, you shouldn't EVER step in here in the first place. But if you do step in here, you should expect the exact same treatment as everyone else, regardless who you are.

So what you are saying is 80% isnt 80%, you can't contradict yourself in the same post. Dissolution is a raiding guild. Dissolution is not a soloing, grouping, tradeskilling or merchant guild. He is evaluated on his raid performance. 80% attendance no matter what the reason is still 80% which apparently is not the case for you, which is what i was pointing out to you.

There is no difference absence is absence no matter how you look at it.
