Dissolution yelled the Rumbler in EH back when he was "unkillable". By yelling him, they were able to kill him w/o spawning his copies, thus progressing further into the zone.

The logging in and out exploit was with RoK and a quest that was bugged and would advance you in it by relogging. Apparently, a few Dissolution members (and tons of other players world wide) were rolled back because of this and I believe Cochy was suspended from it.

I think the rumbler thing is an apt analogy, because dissolution weren't the first or the last to do it, nor did they do it more than any other guild

Maliciously taking advantage of another's ignorance and/or trust, an implied transaction in this case, is in poor taste and certainly not an admirable trait.

Any excuses of "lessons" being learned is rather pathetic. If you want to show someone that they lack observational skills, it'll be pretty obvious when you kick their ass. But at least give the god damn money back.

Its great because while he was more of an asshole than a retard at the start of the thread, he becomes the prophesied retard by the end. Since assuming he was never going to pay 100p (since thats such "gouging"), hes a retard since he ended up paying that and getting suspended.

What would be REALLY great would be if the other guy hit accept knowing that he could just report him and get the 100p, since if he just said "Hey thats a duel bet!" he would at best get less. Of course, I think we can all agree that didn't happen, but couldn't we just pretend for a bit, cause that would have been pretty amazing.

Edit: I still think that this is a bad decision by SOE as it essentially makes any duel betting that does go on extremely risky to use as the loser can just /petition as long as they don't initiate the duel.
