Price gouging isn't really real anyway, because if the price is too high people won't pay it and eventually the seller will drop the price. If he is actively looking to sell that is.

The way your opinion comes across if Cochy says a lvl 80 master is worth 5pp, then its worth 5pp period.

If you don't like the price that something is, don't buy it. You're at the mercy of the item's owner, not your opinion of its worth.

I would have argued that a week ago, but now since its been shown that if someone is gouging, and is punished, there are VERY harsh punishments coming. So I'll concede and agree with you and change my stance. There is now no way to fight price gouging. The only real way has been deemed bad. You now are at the complete mercy of the seller.

Buyers are always at the mercy of the seller. Prices are high right now because there are only a few masters out there. As they become more common prices will drop.

From what I've gathered reading his posts its okay to try to scam someone for their item if they don't speak English, have crappy gear, don't post on EQ2Flames, or are charging to much for something you really want.

Oh and Lao, speaking of a masters worth... I forget the expansion, but Ishbu transferred servers (100 bucks irl) AND paid 100+ plat for a master pet. So you can see how an items worth varies greatly depending on the person. Which puts this:

In a whole new perspective. If Ishbu was still playing and his word deemed conjuror master prices, you'd be screwed by your own ruling.
