We have been raiding eof for many many months, we have cleared most of kos and mara as well fyi.

ANYBODY on test can verify that because we pissed a bunch of people off by linking gear we had looted in test chat lol

I've been a loyal customer of SOE for a very long time. I started with EQ, played PlanetSide, SWG, and now EQ2. I've bought several if not all the expansions for each of these games, and paid the monthly pay to play fees for years in each of these games. That's a large sum of money I've spent of their products over the years, but that still hasn't earned me some sort of special treatment that they'd violate their policy for me.

Nor should playing on the test server earn Unhallowed Triad members special treatment either. I understand that playing on the test server was hard to do, but you all knew the score before you started playing there, you knew it'd be ruff, but you still opted to play there, you were not forced to do so, it was your decision.

In the end it's SOE's policy, and if they want to violate their own policy, it's their decision, but it still doesn't make it right.

Also why not just open server transfers to everyone...I mean as long as people pay the $50 does it really fucking matter anymore? Players are happy and SOE happily takes their money.

Well it looks like it is getting a bit heated on the Gameplay discussion board. Im still interested to see what the reply is. Frankly they need to ship them all back.

For the record, I also don't get why they don't allow transfers from PVP to PVE.

Now, a prohibition of transfers from PVE to PVP is understandable. You don't want someone coming over and ganking people based on gear and spells that were earned in a PVE environment. But the same concerns don't hold merit for transfers from PVP to PVE, except for faction gear and faction items. If those could be stripped, I don't see the harm in allowing PVP to PVE transfers.

For what it's worth, doesn't WOW allow transfers from PVP to PVE, but not vice versa?

After all i said and done, the ranting, raving ect, you really think SOE is going to do a thing about this. Come on folks they are a huge company, so what if a group of 50 people got of test that shouldn't have. Right or wrong it happened, not like it really effects any one, other than those that didnt get to be privaleged. Even in real life its not what you know but WHO, so they knew someone who did this. Could that perosn loose thier job maybe, but not likely. They'll get a slap on the wrist and its over. SOE will have some mod/dev make some silly statement that were sorry it happened, it wont happen again and that wil lbe it. People will bitch casue its not fair but nothing will come of it. Again real life people, we all get screwed over all the time, this will just be another example of that happening.

The reason (becides the ones you mentioned) is the database is a different structure between pvp and pve. It is a different game with different rules. They are not easily merged.

Test on the other hand is a pve server, we just get the updates and changes sooner. Everything is the same game wise minus the neglegable constant vitality.

To fix this all they have to do is take every toon on all 50 accounts, put them back on test, drop them all to lvl1, remove everything those toons own from gear to houses to status to titles, and give each toon permemant xp debt to negate the test server xp bonus. Then fire whoever approved the transfer.

You could copy from pve servers to the beta pvp server while it was open. It can't be that hard to go in reverse.
