Someone over on the SOE forums stated the figure was around $8K. Not sure if that's really the case but given that 91 characters from the first guild was transferred, that's almost $4600 right there...

Yeah, the 8k seemed high, but I figured it was quite a few thousand. Didn't know if anybody was keeping score on the total amount of players.

P.S. LFG, you did a good job by breaking this. Try sucking Sony's cock less for this absolutely fantastic job they did in handling this. It sucks and you asking others to back off of SoE is fucking ridiculous.

I can't say as i am supprised. And again, I do have a 62 assassin i leveled on unrest before we got our transfers.
But you know what, i wasted a week or more OF MY PERSONAL LIFE PLAY TIME. I was copied over BY SOE and I played my toon.

I have to agree, LFG. I applaud your effort to expose SOE's shady behavior and attempting to keep people honest. I understand the need to keep decent relations with SOE... but they screwed up and the statement made by Bruce was hardly a sincere apology.

The comments that were made by staff members in the SOE forums thread smacks of indifference as well as a lack of genuine hope to make things right with the gaming community.

I would have been happy with a statment from Bruce that said - yeah, we fucked up, this shouldn't have happened, and it will never happen again.

I don't see how players 1-shotting mobs with laser goggles is valuable testing either. I've always wanted to do it just for kicks, but for that fix I play single player games and use god mode or something.

They set a poor example for what test server is like. Many thanks to all the real testers that get shit fixed.
