Well yes they did do something wrong - they asked for a special favor. They asked to be allowed to cheat.

I mean SOE did not get out a crystal ball and say "oh my we have this guild that needs to be rewarded with a transfer from Test to Unrest".

It takes 2 to Tango and SOE did not think this up on their own.

From what I've gathered (and forgive me if I'm wrong). They asked and were told no. They rolled new toons on Unrest and went about their merry way. Boom their toons from Test were transferred anyway.
