i am sorry if i misunderstood how it was done exactly i did not know that some where ninja transfered. the point everyone is making is it should not been done at all. as you said most knew and some went as far as taunting others about it. i hope that the ninja transfers do not get deleted as SOE said. that would just stack more shit on the pile.

The other thing is, I was willing to ride it out until our new Fearless Jackass blamed *us* on the official forum. I'm prone to temper, I admit (RL redhead, what can I say) but I have never, EVER in three years of this game been so furious with anyone redname -- dev, producer, GM, community relations, whatever -- as I was with that post today. I think Mheryl articulated my response to that very well.

I never thought I'd find myself in agreement with all of the posters at EQ2 Flames and dead set against my own peers and server but, well, LFG's nailed it. I'm glad this bullshit is finally coming to light, because those of us who have Tested as best we are able *without* cheating are tired of putting up with the flak for it.

Thank you very much for posting here. I respect the work that you and other players on Test have done over the past years to improve this game.

Alat Seldi has seven active players maintaining ten accounts on test. We have been pretty involved with the alternate raid crew (by test standards) on test and stand with Keth, Joren, Purr, Murr, Kella, Suzeta and a host of others in how this has played out.

For the most part we didn't like what occurred, how it was handled, that it wasn't responded to. As with many others in this thread, we greatly appreciate that a correcting action has been taken, but the "but for you meddling kids" part of it is just a really unneeded kick in the teeth.

Two of our seven cancelled immediately upon reading that post, the third is ready too. This post reflects Aela and my departure as well.

No hostility, no hubbub, just time to step away and get a fresh start without the vitriol.

Best to all that remain.

You should come try playing on Nagafen though - all action, all the time!

I just helped a couple guys wipe an x2 trying to do the SS HQ lol. Such fun!

Problem is, i don't think our guild can see themselves giving money to SoE right now. I honestly wouldn't mind going to live, and if somehow SoE gave an approprate apology, i wouldn't be aganst playing.. not sure about PVP tho ;) I really like PVP, but the rest of the guild (including the husband!) is pretty indifferent (putting it mildly) on it.

Right now, if we were to keep playing...just elsewhere.. it would be like we are saying what was said is okay. That entire post by the new "BossMan" was nothing but a slap in the face to the rest of us testers.

No in reality he gave a customer a "special discount" only because they knew the right people. Not only were the transfers free (nearly $2500 worth of transfers from what we've been told) but they came over with gear that was acquired through a KNOWN misuse of "special access" granted to someone who didn't earn them.

Think of it like someone getting a free Big Mac because he's best buds with the McDonalds manager. No one else gets free Big Mac's, but because he's friends with the manager, he gets one. If I was an employee of McDonalds and my manager asked me to give his friend a free Big Mac, I'd tell him to fuck off.

Grimwell, the problem here is, a whole lot of people who've been acting selflessly toward SOE and helping promote and improve EQ2 feel strongly that they've been seriously disrespected.

I think you could save this situation and a lot of very nice subscribers by issuing a heartfelt, meaningful, sincere apology on behalf of SOE. Not admitting fault yourself, and nobody is saying you did anything wrong. But the combination of things has made a lot of good people feel like they've been stepped on then swept under the rug or treated like a red headed step child.

A community person, designated felon, whatever you prefer, should step up and take a beating and make things right with these people. This would make you the bigger man. It's what I'd do if it was me.

Out of curiosity - what happened with Unholy Trinity? I believe they were part of this transfer fiasco, but I didn't hear whether or not they got reversed? I have an odd feeling they have escaped notice and are still playing on Unrest.

Sorry but Grimwell is part of the problem but he alone or even Brenlo cannot solely be the solution. It was Froech who decided to imply in his post that the other players on Test weren't worth SOE time, attention or merit -- so as the senior Producer he is the Solution. He needs to make another post and apologize. Grimwell and Brenlo need to issue apologies too, but not to the extent that Froech owes the community one.

He got off on the wrong foot his first day on the job and he needs to take curative action in a hurry. He also needs to learn to read what he writes before he hits the submit button.
