we actually offered, suggested even naked transfers no coin no bags no nodda, just to save us the grind. we didnt ask for ViP service nor did we expect it we left test about a month before RoK, when it was the worst time to be a noob on a new server fully expecting to grind to 80 and be 2 months behind everyone else, thats what we were willing to do, and LFG reguardless of how much plat you have given away on test, the richest person who came over with us has MAYBE 100 plat to their name, most of which is probably gone now buying masters we could never find on test, first thing i bought when i got here was apoc master 1 for my warlock cause the only copy i ever saw on test got eaten by the mailbox 8 months ago

I have a full complement of chars on Nektulos. The full number of characters allowed by my subscription, ie, paid for chars.

In addition I have 2 on test, and could have more if I chose, free. That is an additional perk to Testing, 2x the amount of characters allowed by subscription.

To me that defines Test Chars. As far as live goes, they don't exist. Outside the normal game, outside the normal account characters. They exist in Test Limbo only. It would be absolutely silly for me to expect to take these FREE/Special Purpose characters and then ask that they become something else and transfer to live. They don't exist on a persons normal account for good reason, they don't count or exist on my normal account, should never move to live, nor should they ever expect to be moved there.

I knew the score when I made my test girls, so did these people. Moving them to live was a bad decision and a bad precedent.

While I can say Bravo to testers, bottom line is you gave up nothing on Live to have that test character, the test character slots are a gift given at no extra cost to testers. It's absurd to think that character should go live, it was never intended to.

I will repeat, BAD precedent.

I would so trade you, after my Denmates quit I just don't have any energy to PVP anymore. And I spent a good 2 years developing my Paladin and now he's gathering dust.

Really, how so? I've never played EQ2 with a dev, other than on beta.

Besides, my loyalties have always been to certain people at SOE, not SOE themselves, and a lot of those loyalties aren't employed at SOE anymore.

Its obvious SoE connections have helped guilds through out the history of this game why the fuck are you guys surprised now?

They got transferred...... deal with it.

Guilds have devs in them and get special treatment.....deal with it.

I sincerely doubt they ruined the unrest economy. If anything at all it was in need of a boost since server popultion/activity is horrible there.

If this guild really got all this special help they arnt gonna be much for competition even on Unrest.

I don't know the EXACT number transfered, but there are over 50 accounts in that guild and 90 characters.

This IS a big deal.

Unrest was never merged with another server. Trust me I xfered from Unrest to BB and it was a shock seeing what a active community was like.

Ill say it again Unrest needed the boost.

Im not saying its Moraly(sp) right, but hey they didnt put them on Kithicor(talk about a expensive economy).
