You haven't played the recent WHO beta's have you?

Think EQ1/Asheron's Call 1 style graphics. As for the gameplay, Great ideas, shitty implementation.

AoC is it for the next "big" game, WHO is just a WoW clone with some poorly(aka SOE style) implemented "innovations."

Thats from experience and dialog with both development teams and the current game builds themselves for both.
