I suppose it depends if you still care about the game or not.

Think EQ1/Asheron's Call 1 style graphics. As for the gameplay, Great ideas, shitty implementation.
AoC is it for the next "big" game, WHO is just a WoW clone with some poorly(aka SOE style) implemented "innovations."
Thats from experience and dialog with both development teams and the current game builds themselves for both.

All that aside...
Holy fuckin Moses LFG. Thats some lame ass bullshit.
Also for any who have an account that isn't EQ2 official boards banned:
The Death of Raiding in EQ2

Iam waiting on AoC myself, I refuse to play warhammer onlone due to basicly the same reasons iam having trouble with soe. EA owns WHO now ( mythic sold out to them a couple years ago) I have watch EA destroy awsome mmo's they had a horrid track record so if you think they will do any better with WHO then you may as well believe soe will do a 180 with eq2!
Mythics best game was dark age of camelot and between them and EA they drove a 300k plus player base down to a 50k at best ( less than 6k logged on at prime time) So dont hold your breath open EA making WHO the next big game!
ON topic now sorry to hear they did that to you LFG. Seems to be the typical SOE thing to do these days (shooting onesself in the foot).
I keep playing but i have given up hope of any of thing improving in eq2. I even thought of resubbing my daoc accounts but when i look at what EA did to that game i just cant make myself go back.

I believe I own warhammerflames.com, I went on a registration spree a while back and registered over 20 domains, including wowflames.com.
Not sure who ninja'd warflames.com though, that isn't me.

Re: This is how it will be?
i wonder if eq2flames = [i cannot control my vocabulary] on the SOE boards?
i must admit these last few days have been most unique and entertaining.
i cant say i m surprised at the current turn of events.

Re: This is how it will be?
Generally game companies, like many political entities, have begun to use "Accessibility" as a way to control media content. It allows them to take an imaginary "high road." Basically any site that does not act as little more than an advertisement is denied access to what might be called "scoops"
It is a bit sad that many media outlets (read here: Fan/Game News/Review Sites) are so intimidated and cow-tow. They should really take a page from the twentieth century when this kind of thing was tried before. Mainly, to simply go on with rumor and sensational leaks. Companies and individuals soon learn, as they did 40-50 years ago, that to remain silent and attempt to keep the press leashed is much much worse for PR than to be open and forthcoming, even about scandals and things that might not be so complimentary.
