might want to cover your station name in your screenshots but since theres no subscription left i guess noone would try to bruteforce your account to steal something when all subscriptions are closed. ive for now canceled the subscription for one of my 2 accounts and will follow the topic to decide on further steps

I'm pretty sure that will end up no differently than Vanguard-Flames.

But a WoW section, for many of the people here that already play an MMO thats proven to be massively popular, and stable...not a bad idea.

When I first learned about this site, I was told it was just a bunch of pasty men who hadnt seen the sun or a shower in months, living in moms basement, raiding 24/7. Oh, and that it was a bunch of whiners who got kicked off the offical boards for disrupting things.

I recall reading posts from LFG getting all kinds of pissed at folks for putting FUCK in the title of threads, etc, cuz he ws trying to get SOE to add this site as an offical fansite. He went of of his way to appease SOE. Now look at the mess SOE has made. PFFFT, I support this site all the way.

Anyway, there are most likely some pasty basement-folk here, but if there are, they can put together great ideas and speak intelligently about the game.

Like Celena, I came to this sight because i heard about it from friends, and ended up staying because of the informative posts, interesting people, and the laughs.

I think $oE is making a huge mistake by alienating this sight and its posters. Do you REALLY think the only people u are pissing off are the people you see posting, $oE?! I guarantee there are at least an equal number of users who do nothing but read this sight, and might have only a handful of posts, that support this sight and the work LFG does for the community.

Your in a boat that's sinking rapidly $oE, instead of trying to bail the water out of the boat, its time to throw Aeralik and Gnobrain overboard.

i retired over a year ago. Once I relized Soe coorporate greed and bad attitute towards their player base I decided it was time to not give them my money.

this is something that has been brewing for 3 years, people have been progressively more and more pissed off. There are very few people happy with this ame and the only reason they still play is b/c they like who they play with and genuinly feel that if they can prove their case enough the problems will be fixed. When you feel there is no other recourse b/c the managers and developers just dont give a shit as a whole you jump ship.

I find it refreshing that after hundreds of leisure hours logged ina game that continually and consistently becomes less fun and less in tune with the players, and after numerous episodes of serious drama and breaches of trust on the part of the the company they are paying to play, that those players are willing to sever ties and find something better to do. I'd wager that not one person that is hitting the cancel button is doing so solely for LFG's honor, but that this insult to him and everyone on this site was a catalyst for action and a final straw for many when they were looking for an excuse to quit already.

I can think of a hundred things i should probably be doing with my time instead of playing EQ2. Knowing that the company no longer supports the majority of its fan base just made the final decision a lot easier. I had already quit raiding, now i have no reason to sign on at all.

Because of this incident? No not really. Because of a whole lot of incidents culminating to this one? Yeah. Playing EQ2 to me was not an investment, it was entertainment. I can up and go at will. Can you?
