Like it or not alot of folks still will and do use both sites to pass the time and will still reference each other, Its like getting beat up by your big brother, you dont like it but you still have to eat at the dinner table together each and every day.

If anything it should allow you, to make this site better without the hand holding restrictions SOE enforces fan sites to follow, thus allowing you to fully exercise yours and ours freedom of speech.

I posted the Trak Strat on the official forums w/o any e-mails and it was deleted in under 2 minutes. It amazes me that it takes 24 hours to handle a petition but they have there vultures circling the boards constantly.

I posted my disgust at the SoE Fanbois, Aeralik and Knobrin. I finished posting the thread, pushed the refresh button and it was gone. I had a PM from Knobrin:

LFG, as someone who got the taste slapped out of them as well by SOE 3 months ago, I understand the disbelief that people who should *know beyond a shadow of a doubt* better make such foolish decisions. I deserved better treatment than as disposable tissue, and you, with *far* more influence on the game, sure as hell didn't either.

I've been on the 1-month/cancel cycle in EQ2, since Burning Seas is a pile of imploding crap and I haven't gotten into the WAR or AoC betas yet. I can tell you, in 3 months, the only one to lift a finger to apologize, or fix what was done to the Test Server, is Gaige's tormenting spirit Dev. I can't offer much hope that SOE will find Baby Tunare and backtrack from their mistakes, in that respect.

I hope you don't get more than blacklisted by SOE - and it might not mean much, but my accounts are staying cancelled because of this, LFG, as SOE has proven that their new Modus Operandi is here to stay. To hell with that.

I had this to say on the one thread on the official forum that hasn't been fully deleted yet, and I'll echo my little voice here too. I'm not gonna stir it up over there. But I just wanted to say what I feel about it.

This whole debacle is as sickening as my font color. SoE, shame on you. EQ2flames isn't just another fan-forum. It is the chosen forum of a vast majority of your playerbase. I myself don't post there often, but I always go there first when I need to find something relating to the game. And I know I'm not alone there. EQ2flames isn't just a small minority of raiders. A HUGE amount of your playerbase use that website. Certain areas of the forum are extremely hostile at times I agree, but the class sections are the most invaluable tools for a dedicated EQ2 player such as myself, and I know a hell of a lot of players feel the same way as me in that respect. By cutting your ties with EQ2flames you are shooting yourselves in the foot.

I can't argue with the fact that a large amount of posters there have a real [I cannot control my abusive vocabulary] problem, but that doesn't change the fact that a large percentage of the posters are extremely passionate about EQ2, and only want what's best for the game they love.

Please guys, seriously think about what your doing here. Look at everything that's happened so far, and just try and think where this is heading. It could so easily be avoided.

Support LFG and EQ2Flames!
