Unfortunately, that is true. While I like EQ2, SOE continues to be... dumb. I think the 100% best but unrealistic way to fix this would be having a totally different team of devs form their own company and snag it from SOE.

But that's more unrealistic than 99% of MySpace profile pictures.

Then again, what do I know? I'm 18, act 12, and know nothing of business and the real world, so I'll just wait!

LFG,

I have some questions about the FFA vs SoE call and how that jives with the site rules.

Specifically Article E. regarding exploits, hacks and cheats. If the gloves are truely off, is such discussion and disclosure of information no longer off limits?

I respect your site and community too much to post first without knowing if truely no punches are being pulled or not.

AoC beats them out with fighting my way out of hell tho! Starting out as a heram slave perks me up too :D

I think the exploits rules are there so that people can enjoy the little bit that SoE havent nerfed to fuck. The sooner they know about exploits, the sooner people lose them

While there is some merit to this, the same dupe has been expoited many times over and SoE has known of it and never actually completely fixed it.

SoE also has knowledge of plenty of the 3rd party programs, and have been unsuccessful at trying to prevent them from working.

However, if LFG wants to keep this to just exposing Dev's and poor community management at SoE, I'm happy not to post more information. However if his goal is to reek more havock and demonstrate why breaking their relationship with him was a mistake, I can post said information that was previously against the rules.

The decision is LFG's.
