I hate to spin conspiracy here but I cant shake this.
Not sure if anyone else has thought of / posted this but I just get the feeling this was all planned out.

Run with me here.
They want their traffic back - thats the constant. They say they didn't cut ties with us, but rather LFG specifically. Yea well thats not really possible. And giving that Grimwell lied directly to LFG's face in that mail about why he was terminated, and knowing him personally- come on, it was going to get posted here no question. You'd have to be half dead not to figure that out.

He knew this would an all out war. Except because of the complete severing of ties with us (after, they say, all the posting of dev information), we're led to believe nobody will read it here. They don't post here, they don't read here. The voices would go unheard.
So we had to take it to the official forums - let it be known we're pissed off.
They want their traffic back....

So I'm sure I didn't really explain that as best I could. But it just seems like the perfect plot doesn't it? At least for the short term. And technically long term if the raider community felt the only way to be heard was by posting on official. They even fanned the flames when a response yesterday which to me was a pat on the head and a "there, there"
Maybe I'm giving them too much credit. Just a thought

I don't post much, here or on the official forums but after this and the general lack of any real discussion on the offical forums I doubt I'll ever go back there.

These forums have more and better information and you don't have to worry if you get a bit passionate about an issue.

I'm not going to the fan faire because I live in the UK, but I had an idea last night. What if during one of the developer panels/talks (whatever they do) the majority of the room got up and walked out?
Hard to organise I know, but it might show them what it's like when no one considers your voice is worth listening to.

Again, I am comfortable with what the NDA I signed applies to, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with any information posted here. The information posted in this drama was revealed by SOE employees to players who were NOT subject to that NDA, and is simply a compilation of materials that includes other information also publicly disclosed by those same people and by SOE.

The NDA I signed related to information I received during my participation in the Community Influencer program, and what was posted in the Summit and Influencer boards. I have an obligation not to reveal any of THAT information, and I will not do so in the future. But I now have no obligation with respect to new information I learn now that I am outside of that program.

Also, just reread what Grimwell stated to me in the email I posted that launched all this drama:

Even SOE legal wouldn't disagree with this, this point is only being promoted by players who aren't subject to this agreement, who have no legal training, and who are basically just making misinformed, assumptive comments on the Internet about things they don't have the first clue about.
