I have to disagree with this, as Surreal, the top Russian guild on the Barren Sky server, managed to kill Druushk straight up without exploiting (that I know of). Respect to them, really, they are probably one of the top guilds gamewide (from their speed of progression and exploits) but don't really get noticed because their server is often an update or 3 behind and well, it's the russian server :D
Dunno if they coercer exploited it or anything, but I know they killed it with no mythicals. So did Pandemonium on Storms, but they exploited it with coercer memwipes so it doesn't really count.
Not saying I think it was an appropriate encounter before at all, btw. I thought it was as retarded as anyone else.

I guess I'm just never going to understand how you can exploit something by using a standard class skill (the memwipe) thats been in the game forever and was working properly.

I love watching a paladin get dragged through the mud, all this started because madbiker had to proclaim loud and clear "we did it legit" ahh its so beautiful.
Hell when I was in NPU testing TNT the dev gave full and accurate information about every aspect of the fight, thats why we ww1st it the day it came out. Alot of people struggled with it and I actually leaked out some of that info to people cause well we had help why shouldn't my friends? Word travels quickly so didn't take many people to tell. Granted that zone wasn't super difficult but it was still a pita. I have no doubt in my mind that NPU was going to be tapped to test out Shard of Hate when it went to the test server, I wonder if they are still gonna be allowed to now LOL. I never witnessed any exact spawn timer bullshit cause when I was apping all the apps had to camp contested all the time. If something poppped we had to notify someone immediatly.
NPU was guaranteed into any beta testing though for any content that was coming up. Astaroth made sure of that. It was common knowledge in the guild that everyone in guild was going to be given a beta invite and that you would be given detailed strats about every encounter they wanted you to test out. Obviously NPU was tapped to test Trakanon, but what we don't know is what other encounters they were given information on. Many encounters which were easy they might not have but I wouldn't be surprised if they were given multiple different walkthroughs for multiple mobs wether they needed them or not. The only proof is the Trak one which alone is pretty damning but don't lose site that all of VP was prolly given to them and laid out on a silver platter.
I personally think its hillarious. A top end guild having a SK in it at all was kinda funny considering he was only allowed on raids when there weren't enough people online to fill a raid. Don't get me started on Baast his girlfriend. Both of them were below average players but what guild wouldn't want to have a GM and a DEV in their guild regardless of how much their class and playing style sucked? Don't hate on NPU too much after all, the real problem is the DEV's not the guild who have devs. Any other guild out there would gladly let a dev in for special favors and guaranteed beta invites and the myriad of benefits of having one in guild grants. Who knows someday you might have a dev in your guild giving ya info, its real hard to not want to use that info to your advantage.
Either way its all free game now, the expansion sucks, the heroic and raid content suck, the devs are slowly sucking the life out of the game. Maybe someday they might actually hire some competant people that don't have to design encounters based on wether or not they can beat them and if its impossible it goes live. Yay for Roger the Douche Bag!

I think I'm gonna assumed that the timer issue is a false positive for now. Detail strat is one thing, exact mob timer is another thing (and much bigger issue) IMO.

This contains details I would not have known unless I was in NPU so I think the validity speaks for itself.
Ask anyone who was in contact with an NPU member in EOF. How come I was told when your contested were going to spawn (and it was always true) to the minute, and the members werent? More of NPU's leaders/officers trying to hide the depth of their Dev knowledge from the rest of the guild (just like they hid it from madbiker - lol)?
