i read these forums daily, love the flames, info, and freedom of speech allowed, along with the passion the gamers in here have about the game.

their insight has given me much info, and enhanced my EQ2 experience 1000 times over.

i can't say that about SOE's shit for forums....and i've been with those sacks of shit since 03 (SWG since july 03)

SOE continually gives less than a fuck about the community and their feelings, opinions, and input...if they did, we wouldn't have the NGE, the CU, RoK itemization, and fuck all raid content...

the developers reation to this incident, and utter lack of respect for the gaming community is the last straw for me...

off to WoW, to play with 20 other friends that left SWG, EQ2, and Vanguard for WoW...

Isn't the other thread enough? Hell yes I'm pissed about the support for this forum being withdrawn, but to call out the people who DO care about the game is counterproductive to what we've accomplished so far.

You don't have to like the devs, you don't have to agree with them being in raid guilds, but the fact that there ARE people who work on the game that PLAY the game and are PASSIONATE enough about the game to talk to us and tell us who they are and what they are doing to fix it made me feel better about it, like there was some hope.

These people aren't the ones making the final decisions on what gets done to the game. We need to remember that. These are the people who listened to us and talked to us and passed on what we said and knew to bosses who didn't listen.

Agree or disagree, I don't care, but I can't just stand back and say nothing at all.

Didn't see Domino's info up there.

But her name clearly violates the naming policy in a multitude of ways being the name of a pizza chain and sugar maker.

Just like if a company employee was using the name McDonaldsdev. They don't want a player in a virtual world to use it but magically they can.

You make it sound like they only listen to guildmate complaints.

As far as I'm concerned, the only one I feel bad about is Domino. She is by far the best thing to happen to the game. Unfortunately for her, it's too little too late.
