I'm probably wrong about what I said about the date and time she interviewed for the Allakhazam job. She did quit this site very shortly - like within a few days, after that Summit trip. I thought I remembered her later saying to me that's when she talked to someone about the job. If I remember incorrectly on this point, no big deal, it is minor and extraneous to the main issue.

I don't believe there is any other person alive who knew that other than her, Alla, and Illia, and I seriously doubt those other two spread the rumor.

And I admit I can hardly criticize anyone for spreading rumors. I only did so in this case because I felt my various acts of kindness had been repaid with personal betrayal.

And the ironic thing is, the more they come here and bitch at LFG and Snark, the more they seal their fate. Instead of shutting the fuck up and hoping Flames rots on the vine, they're fanning the flame of their own funeral pyre. Subsequently other fires crop up, like blogs or peripheral gaming sites.

Ah well, fun to watch. Right now they hate LFG like the kid who reminded the teacher that she forgot to assign homework.

I know I'm not lying. That doesn't necessarily mean that LFG's not telling the truth as he knows it too.

Not sure why I bothered, tell the truth, except that I felt the need to defend myself. One event is over a year old, the other is almost 7 months old, and at this point it's just he-said she-said. I could (try to) drag lots of folks in here who can confirm no one from Zam was at that summit last February, but would it be believed? LFG wasn't there, he's gotten some bad info, but I've no way to change that or convince him otherwise.

Similarly, I can deny until I'm blue in the face that I'm spreading rumors about LFG, 'cause I'm not. Would anyone here believe me? How would I prove it, make people post that I never told them anything? Yeah, like that'd work.

Actually, they hate LFG cause he somehow became class president, and he's allowing things that are making the principal notice how worthless the hall monitor program is, and now the hall monitors are REALLY scared they're gonna lose their faux power.

No, running is allowed, but only in the super secret hallway. As the new class president, LFG was banned from there....and now the hall monitors can pretend they were never jealous of him.

I probably missed something in this behemoth, but why would they cut off these other fansites? The other members of the "community" seem to exist to serve their parent companies and shmooze around with SoE, whereas this site is player-oriented. The other sites are free advertising and basically just give SoE some increased exposure and a token appearance of community involvement. Not to imply that SoE has ever seemed particularly concerned about getting EQ2 out there.

Of course they're not "useful" in the sense that we'd like them to be, but that's not what anyone is concerned with.
